A Florida man is in jail after law enforcement officials said he threw a samurai sword at lawmakers in response to a call for domestic riot.
Brevard County sheriffs deputies on Wednesday answered an emergency call (911) from a woman who said her son had threatened her with a pair of swords.
According to Florida Today, when MPs arrived, they discovered that 24-year-old Jeffrey Crane was holding samurai swords, and he refused to lower them.
According to investigators, Crane then threw one of the swords at the deputies. The stun gun was used to pacify Crane, who had a blood alcohol content of 0.36. The legal limit for driving is 0.08.
Crane faces multiple charges, including domestic violence and aggravated assault on law enforcement. He was still in Brevard County Jail on Saturday. Prison records don’t say if he has a lawyer
