DAVY. Police say two Florida men stole a flat-screen TV from a Walmart store in South Florida and dropped it while hiding in a motor scooter.
Davy police tweeted that 36-year-old Michael Patrick Flanagan was arrested Wednesday.
Video surveillance showed that on December 16, a man took a 43-inch Vizio flat-screen TV, priced at $ 348. In a tweet, the agency reported that the “clumsy” couple nearly crashed while fleeing. They left the TV on the ground.
Flanagan’s image was captured on video.
He told the police that the second person’s name was Sharkey. His search continues.
Flanagan is charged with theft. The lawyer did not appear in the trial record.
