Groveland (WTFF) – A Florida man driving around without pants and without a license is charged with multiple drugs.
At around 6:00 am Wednesday morning, the blue BMW drove west through 50. The license plate matched that of 21-year-old Brandon Hasel, who had his license suspended due to the DUI incident on the 7th, according to his affidavit.
A Florida man lit a “new cigarette” when he was stopped. He was in the driveway to his house.
Groveland P.D. As he approached, the officer smelled burning grass. The cop asked if he had a license.
“No, you guys got it from me.”
Brandon was wearing no pants and told the cop that his father was driving and he was just sitting in the car. Brandon was in the driver’s seat with no pants when he said that. There were reportedly no other people at BMW. The cop spoke to his father, who said he didn’t drive, but rather “just picking up the trash” when the cop saw him walking earlier.
The Florida native was detained.
The hood of the car was hot. “It should be noted,” the report says, “there was a cold bottle of Pepsi in the Walmart bag in the passenger seat,” as well as some cocktail, cocaine, methamphetamine and scales.
His pants were in the passenger seat too. Inside was his wallet with several debit cards.
Brandon referred to his right to remain silent and was arrested on charges of driving with a license suspended (for a previous DUI) and one charge of possession of methamphetamines, cocaine and paraphernalia. He posted $ 15,000 bail the next day and is awaiting trial on September 17
